FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS

Almost 50 children in the Parish should have made their first Holy Communion during Eastertide, but this important event in our parish life was lost to the lockdown.  Arrangements have now been made for the children to make their first Holy Communions in smaller groups at Masses in September, including extra Sunday Masses on

  • Saturday 26th at 10am.

  • Sunday 27th at 9.30am.

parishioners are welcome at any of these Masses.  Please keep these children in your prayers as they reach an important milestone in their lives.

HOLY COMMUNION AT HOME FOR THE SICK

New guidance on Communion at home for the sick has been issued.  It is now possible for this to resume, including visits by Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist.  Those who are sick or who continue to shield due to vulnerability and who would like to receive communion at home should contact one of the priests.
